Before Renting

What paperwork is required to rent an appliance?
The form on this page provides us with all the basic information we need to start, we then need proof of identity and a signature before the rental can start.
 

What are the terms & conditions for appliance rentals?
Please see our terms & conditions page for details & a copy of the Rental Agreement you'll be signing on or before delivery day.
 

Can I choose the exact appliance that will be installed in my house?
Yes you can. If you visit our showroom, you can pick out the actual machine you want to rent. If you would prefer not to visit and just have us deliver, we can do that too.

Installation Day

Do I have to be home on installation day?
Yes you do. You need to sign for receipt of the appliance and provide photo ID if you haven't already.
 

How do I set up auto-payments with my bank?
Your bank can help you with this, or we can arrange for direct debits. You can also pay in advance by another method - credit card, bank transfer or cash - if that is easier for you.
 

How do I set up auto-payments with my creditcard?
We can process your payment on a set date.

During Rental

What happens if I move within Christchurch?
If you have been renting from us for 6 months or more we will move your appliance free of charge. Just give us a minimum of 48 hrs notice of your move, along with details of your new location, and we'll sort the rest.
 

What if my appliance breaks down?
This is one of the great advantages of renting over owning. If it breaks we will fix it or replace it for free.
 

How does insurance work for hired appliances?
You need to make sure that they are covered under your contents insurance.
 

Can I upgrade my appliances?
Absolutely, just give us a call and let us know what you need.

Ending

What happens if I move outside of Christchurch?
We only rent within Christchurch, but will aim to make the machine available to you for purchase if you would like to take it with you. If you would prefer not to buy, it will need to be returned, call us to arrange a time for pickup.
 

What if I need to end my contract early?
If you are within the first 6 months you will need to pay the remaining balance of the 6 months, outside the 6 months you can have us collect the machine any time.
